What You Will Do:
Responsible for the process of purchase requisitions for goods/services and ensures compliance with purchasing procedures and requisition requirements.
Issues and approves purchase orders per Enbridge Supply Chain Management Legal and Delegation of Authorities (DOA) Policies.
Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Acts as a liaison between project managers and/or consultants and suppliers and resolves any procurementrelated issues.
Obtains optimized pricing and costefficient methods to assist with companywide cost saving measures and departmental goals.
Investigates and facilitates issue resolution relative to procurement activities as requested.
Mentors guides and/or trains other department staff or end user department personnel as required.
Who You Are:
A university degree in Supply Chain Finance Business or Economics with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a material/service buyer within Supply Chain or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Enrollment in a SCM related professional certification such as PMAC or ISM is considered an asset.
Thrives and works well under pressure in fast paced environment due to a high volume of requests.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Great communication skills with a focus on partnering with internal customers to provide exceptional service.
Supply Chain Management Professional (SCPM)/Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) considered an asset but not required.
Working Conditions:
Office environment; desk work using computers and software.
Less than 5% of travel is required for team events. Valid passport is required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Salary: Ranges typically between $68000 $94000 based upon experience and other market conditions.
