Overview
Position:Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: NovaCare Silver Spring Maryland
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours
Compensation:starting at $27.00/Hr.
Incentives: Sign on bonus and/or indefinite student loan help
Our NovaCare Silver Spring Maryland is an outpatient orthopedic center seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide topnotch patient care to patients of all ages and clinical team averages 12 patients per day treating everyone from teens through geriatrics. Our specialty services include; neurology sports medicine pediatrics fall prevention and an ACL Program on top of general orthopedics. We WELCOME clinicians of all experience levels previous OP ortho experience is a PLUS. We can also support new graduate physical therapist assistants with onsite mentorship.

Schedule:Weekdays MWF 74pm and Tu/Th 1030a7pm

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
