What Youll Do in This Role:
As a Housekeeper you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and vibrant community! Youll bring energy and attention to detail as you ensure our spaces are spotless safe and inviting. Your work helps cultivate a comfortable environment where everyone feels right at home and youre part of a team that strives to make every day brighter and more enjoyable for our residents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets sinks showers and floors.
- Dust and polish furniture fixtures and decorative items.
- Vacuum and mop floors carpets and rugs.
- Cleans residents rooms recreational areas offices and hallways as assigned.
- Change bed linens and make beds according to established standards.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces appliances and utensils.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries towels and cleaning products.
- Organize and maintain storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures.
What Youll Need:
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a longterm care facility or medical environment preferred
- Must possess knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages especially the geriatric population
- Must be able to lift push pull and carry up to 35 pounds
