Job Description
Job Summary
Darling Ingredients is looking for a dynamic Risk Management intern who is eager to learn about corporate Risk Department and our company. The Intern will engage in various compliance work assignments projects and activities of varying complexity structured to enable them to gain the necessary knowledge skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level. They will receive training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors
- Understands the overall concept of the company including the brand customer product goals and all other aspects of service.
- Accepts designated businessfocus projects to research propose ideas and solutions
- Attend meetings
- Present final project or presentation as requested by supervisor
- All other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate
- Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask
- Professionalism
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to walk stand climb balance stoop kneel crawl and crouch.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
