General Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist develops and administers operational programs and processes designed to improve sales force effectiveness and efficiencies. This role proactively identifies areas of opportunity to increase efficiency in the Sales and Sales Operations processes and recommends changes and identifies tools that help streamline process and information sharing across the company.

Essential Responsibilities
- Acts as the liaison between Sales and cross functional teams to execute Sales Operations activities. Ensures effective and accurate product purchasing reporting and effective flow of the business.
- Implements and manages the use of sales inventory and forecasting reports and tools. Tracks and analyzes sales metrics KPIs and reporting to make informed recommendations to Sales leadership team.
- Reviews quotes order forms and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness. Ensures order bank integrity and policy adherence.
- Manage seasonal sellin and sellthrough sales programs. Identifies issues with order book. Communicates issues with sales representatives. Creates and presents daily and weekly sellthru updates for Canadian leadership and finance teams.
- Supports sample planning and management with guidance from the leadership and sales team members.
- Manages webbased B2B ordering applications for booking and atonce orders. Ensures data accuracy within Nuorder. Manages atonce sales programs and closeouts. Reviews availabletosell (ATS) daily and submits closeouts to leadership.
- Maximizes the contribution and profitability of the inventory by keeping cross functional teams informed.
- Works with the Sales team to assist with accurate quoting (i.e. pricing discounting contracts and terms) for vendors. Audits pricing seasonally and resolves pricing errors.
- Ensures customer data is entered accurate in customer data management system. Makes updates as needed.
- Participates and contributes to seasonal/quarterly/monthly shipping targets. Updates the logistics and leadership teams on the status of order books and customer demand versus shipping expectations.
- Conducts regional forecasting and consolidation of sales forecasts by using historical data current data trends and inputs from sales team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with a focus in Business or related field is required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Three (3) years of experience in sales operations or a similar sales role.
- Demonstrated skills knowledge and experience in the Sales and Sales Operations field
- Strong strategic analytical organizational and personal skills
- Self starter with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects at a time
- Highly engaging and able to converse freely and confidently with others both written and verbally.
- Strong time management skills
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite of programs with a strong emphasis on Excel
- Vanguard experience considered an asset
- Power BI considered an asset
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Prior experience in the Outdoor or Footwear Industry is an asset.
