About the role:
Based from our QLD Head Office in Arundel the People and Culture Coordinator will provide essential administrative and recruitment support to our P&C team. The primary function of this role is recruitment onboarding and compliance of blue collar roles for our QLD branch network. Along with being a hands on recruiter this role will see you own a range of clerical tasks and the successful candidate will need to work well in a fast paced and at times reactive environment.
This role will see you speaking to candidates and hiring managers daily where you will take ownership of executing our field recruitment strategy. You will also work on tasks or projects related to employee engagement & culture employee performance and management and L&D.
Key Responsibilities;
- Field recruitment branches and special projects
- Proactive talent pooling networking and attraction campaigns
- Workforce planning Consult with P&C Lead and Branch Managers to identify staff requirements and specific job objectives
- Write and post job descriptions on job boards
- Source candidates by using databases industry networks and social media
- Resume screen phone screen interview and reference check
- Induction and orientation of all new staff Field
- Employee Paperwork and HR documents
- Work with HRIS for documentation ensuring legislation requirements are met
About you:
You will have recent experience in recruitment and HR administration. Youre a solutions focused individual who enjoys working with people and supporting individuals throughout the employee lifecycle. We are a small tight knit team who consistently show up for one another we are looking for someone passionate about building on our culture and supporting each other as we grow personally and professionally.
Selection Criteria;
- Recent demonstrated experience in recruitment and talent acquisition
- Expert written and verbal communication skills
- A keen administrator focused on accuracy and efficiency
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build effective relationships throughout the business
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities of the organisation
- he ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes whilst positively contributing to a team environment
- Ability to thrive under pressure produce quality work and be productive
