About the role

We are looking for a tech savvy problem solver to join our Business Systems & Solutions team. As the first point of contact for all ITrelated queries and incidents you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and ensuring a seamless user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting a range of IT systems and applications.

About the team

As part of the Business Systems and Solutions team you will be joining a motivated supportive and dynamic team that are keen to learn and grow. Our team provides IT services to the entire council including multiple community facility sites. We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and excellence thrive.

About you

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • A strong understanding of hardware software and networkrelated issues. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on delivering highquality customerfocused support. Keeping our customers informed is important to us. We are looking for someone who can manage expectations and provide clear updates on issue status.
  • Proficiency in incident and request management including logging tracking and prioritizing workload to meet service levels. Attention to detail in maintaining IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance IT service delivery and user experience. Willingness to participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
