Job Description

Our client in the Pharmaceutical industry is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to drive direct sales of their OTC product range to independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors across the Free State and Northern Cape region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a resultsdriven individual to build and nurture strong relationships with key healthcare professionals while managing and growing a designated sales territory.

Role is based in Bloemfontein.



Requirements:
  • A Diploma or Degree.
  • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • A passion for building relationships and driving sales in the healthcare industry.
  • The role requires travel within your designated territory including both planned and adhoc business trips.
  • Regular overnight stays away from home are expected.
  • A valid drivers license and a reliable motor vehicle are essential for this position.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Sales Growth: Achieve and consistently exceed set sales targets by effectively promoting and selling products.
  • Strategy Implementation: Drive the successful execution of sales and marketing strategies tailored to the needs of your territory.
  • Territory Management: Plan and manage your sales territory through thorough analysis customer targeting and optimizing call coverage to maximize opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong lasting relationships with key customers ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries resolving issues promptly and offering continuous support.
  • Expense Management: Efficiently manage and control territory expenses to ensure alignment with company guidelines.
  • Data and Reporting: Compile update and share a comprehensive database of targeted customers and industry contacts regularly.
  • Compliance: Adhere to Pharmacovigilance policies and company procedures to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Call Rate Achievement: Meet the daily call rate as outlined by management to ensure consistent outreach and sales performance.
