Job Description
Job Summary:
The Pro Shop Attendant at Waynesville Inn & Golf Club is responsible for providing exceptional customer service for members and guestswho are checking in for golfat our prestigious golf course or shopping in our pro parttime hourly position requires an individual who is friendly outgoing and has a passion for hospitality and the golf industry. As an Pro Shop Attendant you will be a vital part of our team working to create a positive atmosphere for our guests at all times.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 per hourpaid biweekly. As an employee of Waynesville Inn & Golf you will also have access to a range of benefits including meal discounts employee discounts at the pro shop and complimentary golf privileges.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome members and guests in a warm and friendly manner providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Checking in and taking payment for golf reservations.
- Answering phone calls taking messages making golf reservations.
- Ensure cleanliness organization and stocking of pro shop.
- Handle merchandise and clothing purchases and payments as either credit card transactions or charges to member accounts.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Informing players of course rules regulations and any other relevant information.
- Assisting with any other administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
Prior golf experience preferred but not required.
Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
