Job Description
Job Summary:
General plant labor to include operating machinery forklift operation grinder operation housekeeping cleaning painting grounds and general housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
This is a 2nd shift position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- General plant labor
- Utilize and operate a forklift
- Plate Freezer Operation
- Inventory counts
- Stretch Wrapper Operation
- Pressure Washer Operation
- Housekeeping hosing down floors moping sweeping emptying trash picking up trash etc.
- Shovel and clean up spills in the plant
- Keep barrels emptied of trash and product
- Clean equipment from top to bottom
- Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains
- Paint as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position will typically not supervise another position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to climb stairs and silos.
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing climbing walking and working overhead
- Ability to lift 50lbs
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Inside and Outside
- Hot and cold temperatures
