Details

At a Glance! Lower Columbia College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join the team as a parttime adjunct and substitute instructor in the Welding program.

LCCs degree and certificate options provide graduates with a solid foundation of major welding and cutting processes and prepares students for the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO) exam. This position is responsible for teaching courses including but not limited to stick (SMAW) wire feed (GMAW FCAW) and tig (GTAW) welding. Courses are delivered in person but utilize online learning resources. Training will be provided on related learning management systems.

We are currently accepting applications on an ongoing basis and seeking individuals that may be able to teach or provide substitute instruction as needed for various class sections.

Welding sections are offered MondayThursday during the following days/times:

  • 9:00am12:15pm
  • 1:00pm4:15pm
  • 5:30pm8:45 pm

  • Lecture rate is $78.33 per contact hour ($861.63 per credit).
  • Lab rate is $58.33 per contact hour ($1283.26 per credit).
