Summary Statement

This position is responsible for overseeing behavioral services designated to enhance functioning in individuals with involvement in the legal system and who have disabilities. Work may include facilitating competency education groups providing individual competency education tutoring creating individual competency worksheets providing therapeutic clinical programming participating in treatment team meeting with patients for individual therapy providing general therapy and support services documenting in patient records and tracking client group attendance. This position offers fulltime hours for a period of 9 months with the potential for extension thereafter. The position will automatically go to 29.75 if an extension isnt granted after 9 months.

Essential Functions

Essential functions are fundamental core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class specifications are descriptive and not restrictive incumbents can complete job duties of similar kind not specifically listed here.

  • Evaluates monitors and approves all behavior services to clients in institutional or community programs.
  • Provides behavioral services consultation to communitybased institutional facilities and
    outside agencies.
  • Designs and implements training programs for clients provider and for subordinate staff.
  • Trains assigns supervises and/or evaluates the performance of professional and paraprofessionalstaff.
  • Prepares statistical data relative to client status treatment programs training information and
    research projects.
  • Participates in professional committees at the Division and Regional level.
  • May oversee the evaluations and assessments of client functioning.
  • May develop administer monitor and evaluate professional contracts in the areas of Psychiatry or Psychology.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Behavior Analyst Supervisor
Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  1. Possession of a Bachelors degree or higher in Behavioral or Social Science or related field.
  2. Three years experience in developing functional assessment plans by assessing behavioral needs and determining behavioral objectives.
  3. Three years experience in evaluating and assessing client functioning using a variety of formal tests and survey tools.
  4. Three years experience in making recommendations as part of a clients service plan such as clinical treatment counseling or determining eligibility for health or human services/benefits.
  5. Three years experience in interpreting laws rules regulations standards policies and procedures.
  6. Knowledge of developing policies or procedures.
  7. Knowledge of staff supervision acquired through course work academic training training provided through an employer or performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others; OR supervising staff which may include planning assigning reviewing and evaluating the work of others; OR supervising through subordinate supervisors a group of professional technical and clerical employees.

Conditions of Hire

Upon a conditional offer the applicant must undergo a preemployment base line two step tuberculin skin test (TST) as part of the hiring process.
