This role is based in the Internal Audit Team who work to provide objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value across operational processes. The team offers high level support for the delivery of Internal Audit in line with UNSWs Strategy and key risks by managing and executing projects included in UNSWs Internal Audit Plan.
Why your Role Matters
As Internal Audit Manager youll work as a trusted partner and advisor to provide independent objective assurance expertise to senior management and develop highquality deliverables (reports dashboard scope documents) designed to support UNSWs internal control environment and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Leading reviews and investigations across the University youll be confident in developing the scope and approach of audit engagements as per stakeholder needs. With a strong background in risk and controls your role works to highlight and address business trends and deliver on projects across UNSWs Internal Audit Plan.
This role reports to the Director Internal Audit and works with Senior Internal Audit Managers to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of internal control processes over key business process risks at the University.
Skills & experience: Were looking for a strong background in a risk and controls environment with a minimum of 5 years of internal audit experience.
