Prime Air Quality is seeking an experienced Sr. Design Quality Assurance Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading Hardware/Software Quality and Design Assurance engineering initiatives for certifying highly complex products in the aerospace aviation maintenance industries. The right candidate will also be a strong integrator who prioritizes well and communicates effectively.
Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazons ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related discipline
7 years experience leading software quality assurance activities from inception of project to delivery to support Software DO254/DO178 C certification and DO330 DO331 DO332
7 years experience auditing design activities and perform process assurance activities to ensure lifecycle processes comply with approved plans and standards
5 years experience monitoring test execution
5 years experience performing conformity reviews
5 years experience participating FAA audits and change control boards
Strong command of product development lifecycle processes
Deep understanding showing compliance to regulatory requirements
Demonstrated Experience with PLM JAMA and other common tools
10 years experience with DQA activities in DO178 Compliance and Auditing
5 years experience with DO254 and DO278 Compliance and Auditing
Demonstrated Experience with (FAA) 14 CFR 21.137 requirements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
