CRANE OPERATOR!
$18.00$20.00
1st Shift!
Akron
Responsible for operating a traveling crane to lift move position and reposition load. Depresses buttons lifts levers and ensures load is safely attached to crane before bringing it down.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical skills: Understanding of how to use crane controls to maneuver the crane and make small adjustments when traveling from one location to the next and placing down their loads.
- Alertness: Work to stay aware of their crane their load and their surroundings at all times to complete tasks efficiently and without incidents.
- Attention to detail: Excellent attention to detail when inspecting and operating their cranes to identify and fix potential hazards before they occur.
- Verbal communication: Strong verbal communication skills to give and understand directions from the ground while they operate the equipment or move materials.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Operating a crane.
- Inspecting the crane to ensure its safety.
- Performing routine maintenance.
- Cleaning and maintaining the crane hoisting mechanism.
- Using lever and pedal controls efficiently.
