Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
A Child and Adolescent PMHNP is needed in Melbourne FL.

- Salary Range: $125000 $150000 annually

Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday (8:00 am 4:00 pm or 9:00 am 5:00 pm) with possible oncall duties
- Provide psychiatric evaluations medication management and followup care for child and adolescent patients
- Work in an inpatient setting with patient volume varying based on census
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychologists therapists and social workers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Utilize evidencebased approaches to treat conditions such as ADHD anxiety depression mood disorders and other psychiatric concerns in youth
- Educate families and caregivers on mental health conditions treatment plans and available resources
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (Credible)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices within the organization
Requirements
- Clear and active licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Florida
- Certification as a PMHNP with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in child and adolescent psychiatric care preferred (new graduates with strong training will be considered)
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
