Hours: 20 hours per week Fulltime

Summary:
The Yorkshire Clinic is one of West Yorkshires leading private hospitals set in three acres of woodland in the grounds of Cottingley Hall near Bingley. The hospital opened in 1982 and currently has 57 bedrooms including one twinbedded room all with ensuite facilities.

By investing in advanced medical technology the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The four fully equipped theatres all with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy hip and knee replacement.

Treatments at the clinic include knee cartilage surgery knee arthroscopy knee ligament surgery cataract surgery and shoulder muscle repair. There is also one theatre especially suitable for minor local anaesthetic procedures.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Yorkshire Clinic based in Bingley. People caring for people. Thats what its all about at Ramsay Health Care UK. Youll be involved in cleaning all areas of the hospital from wards to theatres. Well give you all the training youll need including getting you up to speed on infection control regulations. As a vital part of the team youll be valued for your hard work and skills and given the chance to build on them through our Ramsay Academy.

You should meet the following criteria:

• Competence in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills essential
• Prior experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of highquality housekeeping.

Duties of this role include:

• The role is fully flexible between departments and to the needs of the business.
• Undertaking the day to day cleaning of patient public and employee areas.
• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance to cleaning schedules and policies.
• Maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients visitors and employees.
• Flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas)
• Responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties understanding the cleaning requirements of different areas surfaces and coverings.
