Salary range: 32 per hour weekdays 35 per hour Saturdays.

As a radiographer you will provide high quality effective imaging services within Cardiac CT. Youll report to the Superintendent Radiographer youll work as part of the wider modality leads and wider multidisciplinary team showing flexibility flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial to enable us to deliver an outstanding service to our patients.
The Cromwell Hospital
The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing Outpatient and Inpatient service. The Hospital has over 180 beds 6 theatres full intensive care facilities and a dedicated day surgery unit.
We currently have a flagship Siemens Somatom CT scanner with flash and dual energy capabilities. Youll be exposed to a wide variety of CT examinations including full body imaging neurological cardiac and biopsy procedures and some specialist orthopaedic imaging.
The Xray department has two general Xray rooms an OPG machine a Fluoroscopy room a DEXA scanner and a mammography machine. Youll provide imaging services mainly to our theatres theatre recovery and AICU. We will soon be moving to the new building Lexham Gardens where we will have stateoftheart Xray and fluoroscopy rooms by Siemens brand new Siemens Image Intensifiers and a stateoftheart GE Lunar DEXA scanner.
Youll help us make health happen by:
Youll create and maintain good working relationships with all members of the Diagnostic Imaging Department team working positively to develop a cohesive team.
Promotion of good relations with Referring Clinicians other hospital departments and outside organisations to ensure that the reputation of the Radiology Department is upheld.
Youll be fully conversant with the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS systems and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation.
Youll report all accidents untoward occurrences or problems to the Superintendent Radiographer and record such incidents according to Hospital policy.
Ensure that you are aware of and conversant with the Health and Safety at Work Act and comply with the regulations set down to ensure safety for patients visitors and colleagues.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
Substantial CT Cardiac experience (essential)
Ability to work under pressure and direct and achieve results
Organised.
