K5 Factory as part of the K5 Media Group based in Munich has been specialized in developping immersive experiences since its foundation combining cuttingedge technologies in the areas of AR VR and realtime rendering to produce games metaverse and other immersive experiences.
Your Role
We are seeking highly skilled upandcoming Talents to join our team and work on our stateoftheart AR/VR projects as Interns for QA Testing of our multiplayer VR Game. If you are passionate about gaming and keen on deepening your handson testing experience and expertise you could be the one!
Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping
- Design and development of game mechanics: Assisting in conceptualization and implementation of game design elements for AR/VR applications incl. development of interactive elements user interfaces balancing and level design
- Assistance in prototyping ideas and creating prototypes for new game ideas using Unity iterating based on playtesting and player feedback.
- Feature Development
- Contribution to design and implementation of new game features that foster social engagement.
- Ensure game design aligns with technical and artistic vision of the team.
- 3D modeling and animation: Contributing to creation of 3D models textures and animations for integration into the AR/VR environments.
- Documentation and presentations: Assisting in creation of documentation on design processes and participating in presentations of work results as a team.
- Collaboration & Live Updates
- Collaborate with programmers and artists to implement and polish game features.
- Support live production by addressing player feedback and assisting with feature updates.
Requirements
What do you bring to the table
- Deep interest in and passion for gaming particularly AR/VR games and technology.
- Theoretical knowledge from coursework or a Bachelors/Masters degree related to game design or a similar field.
- Prior experience in game development through personal projects or game jams is highly valued.
- Handson Unity experience and familiarity with VRspecific development are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively in a small dynamic team.
- Teamoriented mindset with a proactive serviceoriented approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to analyze and solve design challenges or create innovative solutions.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Very good command of English both written and spoken; German skills are a plus.
- Mandatory Interns are preferred
