Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current menu items brewing methods and coffee origins.
- Train new staff in coffee preparation and customer service standards.
- Provide prompt support to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure timely and quality service during peak hours.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage safety.
- Participate in promotional events and highlight seasonal menus.
- Adjust brewing techniques based on customer feedback and preferences.
- Prepare special requests and accommodating dietary needs when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and coffeerelated news.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or casual dining environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing equipment and techniques.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule including availability for early mornings evenings and weekends.
- Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different coffee products.
- Ability to stand and move for long periods.
- Basic barista training or certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English or Hindi; additional languages are a bonus.
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures effectively.
