Job Summary

** COMMUNICATION REGARDING TEST INFORMATION WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL **

PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Performs manual labor requiring more skill than that of the Laborer I class or some knowledge of methods and materials to be used in the area of work assignment. May be required to train on various tasks. List generated will be used to fill vacancies at The Wetlands Golf Course the Heymann Performing Arts Center Drainage and the TRB department. Future vacancies in other areas of the organization may also be filled using the list.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Some experience in public works utilities parks recreation or related maintenance repair and minor construction activities; or related training and experience. Vacancies at the Heymann Performing Arts Center require regularly working variable hours nights and weekends. Future vacancies filled using the list generated from this exam may have other areas of assignment. Some positions require a valid Louisiana drivers license prior to appointment Class D or E depending on area of assignment.
