Tri County Tech is currently seeking an adjunct certified Chemistry Instructor for our Medicine and Biosciences program. The instructor supplies student enrichment in Chemistry by incorporating realworld experiences that carry over into the broad areas of the medical field within the medicine and biosciences program. • Youll possess a Bachelors Degree.
• Youll possess a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Chemistry or be willing to obtain.
• Youll have familiarity with pedagogy and the training and development of others.

• You continually look for ways to improve your skill set and are always open to receiving feedback.

What Youll Do

Instructors plan and deliver highlevel rigorous instruction to students in a trade area. They are technical experts in a given field/ area of specialty with the ability to teach leadership and employability skills. They understand the concept of andragogy and pedagogy and the learners motivation while displaying patience and enthusiasm to help their students meet their goals. Instructors are lifelong learners who can adapt easily to meet the needs of their students. They manage multiple projects with selfdirected deadlinedriven accountability. They are highfunctioning professionals applying the use of discretion and independent judgment while maintaining ultimate accountability.

Essential Functions:

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the districts curriculum goals as well as the individual needs of each student.
• Translate lesson plans into learning experiences that effectively utilize the available time for instruction.
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
• Evaluate students academic and social growth keep appropriate records and prepare reports relating to students progress.
• Identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health attitude and learning problems.
• Other JobRelated Duties as Assigned by the Supervisor: The omission of duties does not exclude it from the position if similar related or a logical assignment to the job. In other words youll be helping out on spontaneous projects and opportunities not listed above.

Terms of Employment: Adjunct; MF 10:05 a.m. 10:55 a.m. approximately 710 hours per week.

Evaluation:Performance evaluated by the Instructional Director per Board policy.

Salary: $30.00 per hour
