Now Hiring: Traveling Battery Electrician
Location: TravelBased Texas Employment Type: FullTime
Pay Range: $35$40/hour (based on experience and licensure)

What Youll Do
As a Traveling Battery Electrician youll be responsible for the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of residential and commercial solar battery systems. Youll work across different locations ensuring each project meets quality safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission battery storage systems inverters charge controllers and associated wiring
Conduct maintenance inspections diagnostics and performance tests
Troubleshoot and repair system issues using electrical testing tools
Ensure full compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards
Coordinate with internal teams and communicate with homeowners when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure project timelines are met
Travel as needed to project locations sometimes on short notice
Qualifications:
Valid electrical license (Journeyman or higher preferred)
Minimum of 4 years experience as a licensed electrician
Prior experience with solar battery installations required
Strong working knowledge of electrical codes wiring diagrams and safety protocols
Experience with Sonnen or similar battery storage systems a plus
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing job site conditions
Willingness and availability to travel frequently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
