The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking an EHR Implementation Specialistto be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. TGC is a Community Mental Health Center serving Leavenworth Atchison and Jefferson counties in Kansas.

The EHR Implementation Specialist supports the planning deployment and optimization of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This role ensures that the EHR supports the clinics integrated care model aligns with CCBHC reporting requirements and enhances clinical and operational workflows. The Specialist serves as a key liaison between staff and EHR vendors providing training configuration and support across departments including behavioral health substance use services case management and primary care integration. The EHR Implementation Specialist will be the Subject Matter Expert in the following activities:
Implementing EHR platforms and services
Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards
Controlling and documenting the EHR change management process
Collaborating with vendors to select and integrate new technologies
Integrating services into the enterprise (Active Directory Cybersecurity software etc.)
Training TGC users and superusers in EHR use
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Required: Bachelors degree in Health Informatics Information Technology or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
3 years of experience implementing EHR systems and integrating supporting software in behavioral health settings preferably within a CCBHC or integrated care organization.
2 year of experience developing KPI dashboards in a healthfocused organization.
Preferred:
Experience engineering and deploying a full EHR solution to a behavioral healthfocused clinic.
Familiarity with behavioral healthfocused EHR platforms (e.g. MyAvatar eClinicalWorks or similar).
Experience with federal grant reporting quality metrics and data collection for SAMHSA or HRSAfunded programs is a plus.
Background in managing Information Technology and Helpdesk functions.
