Summary:
Fabricators create or prepare parts and raw material for other work areas by operating machines such as a cutoff saws shears rollers drill presses planers and punching equipment and hand tools such as grinders bevel mills sanders and drills.
Essential Responsibilities:
- At all times ensures safety is the top priority while performing any part of your job
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions provided by Production Supervisor
- Read and comprehend basic blueprints
- Safely operate hand tools (grinders bevel mills drills etc.)
- Able to obtain needed information from print repository and MRP programs
- Obtain and maintain fork lift certification
- Independent operator of at least 2 fabrication machines (excluding lasers and press brakes)
- Other duties as assigned.

- Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using blue prints and tape measures.
