Salary Range: $85000.00 to $150000.00 annually bonus benefits

The U.S. Consumer and Digital Technology (USCDT) team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web) AI/ML marketing technology enterprise communications travel and lifestyle and automation grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a groundbreaking focus with development responsibilities for customerfacing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
- Working closely with AI/ML Research teams Data Scientists and Product Owners in analyzing business features and refining them to appropriately support design and build activities.
- Performing all development for assigned applications including architecture design developing prototypes writing new code and APIs and performing unit and assembly testing of developed software also as needed
- Coding and implementation of reusable ML solutions
- Enabling the deployment support and monitoring of software across test integration and production environments
- Combine Data Science and Engineering skills to solve interesting problems that directly and greatly impact millions of individuals worldwide
- Help craft the direction of machine learning and artificial intelligence at AmEx
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Statistics or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of software development experience
- Strong analytical skills and programming skills with experience with deployment in production environment.
- 3 years handson experience with the following technologies:
- JAVA & Python
- Big Data Spark/Hive/Hbase
- SQL/ NoSQL
- REST API and services
- Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as JUnit Mocking TestNG Jenkins Git Stash and Jira
- Experience supporting and working with crossfunctional teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners
