The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for the following fulltime position: Infants Lead Teacher
The Currey Ingram Child Development Center places an emphasis on outdoor education and offers a dynamic enrichment program that includes gardening cooking foreign language music and movement. Teachers are provided with the Frog Street curriculum and are supported with a mentor.
Preference is given to candidates who have experience working with these specific age groups as well as early childhood education credentials or their equivalent. General staff responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the classroom and working with the other teachers to meet the developmental physical and emotional needs of the children. Teachers are expected to manage the classroom with positive behavioral expectations.

Lead teacher preferences: Bachelors degree particularly in the areas of early childhood education child development or social work. Lead teacher responsibilities include creating lesson plans assessing students communicating with parents and writing weekly newsletters.
