Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Technical Training Supervisor the Technical Trainer administers the programs and materials necessary to prepare our technical staff and partners to install service and maintain our equipment properly. They perform live technical training including continuous education training for technicians within the JHTNA service network including JHTNA FSTs ISPs and customers. This person is responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of training materials i.e. training presentations videos virtual learning materials etc. This is a nonsupervisory position.
Responsibilities:
Technical Training:
Perform technical training for network service providers JHTNA Field Service Team and customers. This may be done independently or codelivered with the Technical Training Supervisor.
Process training requests including registrations curriculum enrollment and updating training documentation
Assists in the creation and maintenance of relevant training materials
Work with Technical Content Management Team (TCMT) to create and edit support videos and document creation as needed
Attend new product meetings including Early Warning Meetings (EWM)
Stay uptodate on new product software new parts and product rework
Monitor Program Effectiveness
Work with the Technical Training Supervisor to identify training gaps and opportunities
General Responsibilities:
Be aware of the company goals and work to achieve department KPIs
Be available during work hours and keep Outlook calendar updated
5S responsibility over the Training Center
Education:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a highly technical role
Previous experience teaching technicians and/or CTS reps
Proficient in CRM and Online Remedy with the ability to learn SAP
Experience in Technical Support maintaining a high level of service
Previous field technician experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information in a clear concise and easytocomprehend manner for multiple learning styles.
Highly engaging public speaking and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and planning skills
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint Word and Excel
Expert knowledge of CRM
Valid drivers license
Up to 50% domestic travel required
