Job Description

The New England College of Optometry invites applications for a limited parttime faculty

position. The qualified applicant will have an appointment in the Principles and Practices of

Optometry course.

Teaching responsibilities include precepting laboratories grading clinical skill examinations and

clinical reports and guiding students during instructed clinical practice at the Clinical Training

Center at 930 Commonwealth Avenue affiliated with the New England College of Optometry.

Requirements

At the time of the appointment the successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Optometry degree

(O.D.) and have or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Optometry License with TPA

certification. Preference will be given to candidates with related experience who have completed

an accredited optometric residency or have equivalent patient care and/or teaching experience.
