Join the Clean Energy Movement Now Hiring: Traveling Battery Tech Apprentice
Location: TravelBased Across Texas Pay: $20$25/hr Employment Type: FullTime
TriSMART Solar is expanding its battery storage division and were looking for motivated apprentices who are ready to hit the road and grow their careers in one of the fastestgrowing sectors in renewable energy. As a Traveling Battery Tech Apprentice youll train alongside experienced battery electricians while gaining handson experience installing and servicing battery energy storage systems at residential and commercial job sites across Texas.
This is not your average apprenticeship. Youll be in the field on the move and learning by doingbuilding a foundation in clean tech that can take you far.
What Youll Be Doing:
Assist licensed electricians with the installation and setup of battery storage systems
Travel to job sites across Texas to support battery and electrical teams
Learn how to troubleshoot system issues test components and ensure safe compliant installations
Help wire and mount inverters batteries and control systems
Gain technical knowledge of energy storage operations safety and permitting
Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with both your team and customers
Follow safety protocols and best practices on every job
What You Need to Bring:
A valid TDLR Apprentice License (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience or exposure to solar batteries or electrical systems preferred
Basic understanding of wiring circuits and electrical tools
Willingness to travel work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks
Excellent work ethic and desire to build a longterm career in renewable energy
Strong communication skills and a teamoriented attitude
