Job Description:
The primary focus of this position is to monitor various garages overnight to ensure facilities do not have unwanted guests. When the locations have been checked other maintenance functions may be assigned.
Tues Sat 11pm 7:30am.
Qualifications
Duties of the Maintenance team include but are not limited to:
- Go through (walk and drive) all City owned parking facilities frequently to remove noncustomers.
- Work with OPD when needed to complete Ban and Bar forms.
- Perform janitorial functions (empty trash mop etc) at multiple parking locations.
- Knowledge of equipment used in parking maintenance. Training for major equipment is provided with a $1/hour raise upon successful completion of the program and after at least 180 days of employment.
- Maintain parking garages and facilities with the ability to make minor repairs.
- Use ParkItDesk for Work Order tracking and updates.
- Snow removal keep walkways garages and entries clear of snow by using a snow plow shovel snow blower salt spreader and ice chipper during the winter months.
- Drive City vehicles. Must have valid drivers license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Work in all weather conditions (sun rain snow heat dust etc).
- Lawn care as directed.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
Skills:

- Dependability Must be ready to work at start time.
- Communication Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be aware of safety regulations practices and procedures applicable to work unit.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug test.
