What makes a worldclass B2B content marketing strategy How can AI be leveraged within content marketing to drive greater performance and productivity In this role you are a creator at the forefront of content marketing as a discipline and a key player in Geotabs marketing success. Under the direction of the AVP Brand & Growth Marketing youll lead a team of high performing content marketers in developing executing and reporting on innovative content strategies that drive demand and fuel pipeline growth. You will lead content strategy topic and audience identification content optimization distribution across multiple formats and brand alignment. Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams (i.e. Demand Generation SEO and Digital Marketing Video Production) industry experts and influencers to create engaging content experiences and push the boundaries of content marketing across all formats. Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with revenue and demand generation goals.
Lead the creation and maintenance of the annual content calendar ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and channels.
Create compelling narratives across various content formats (written visual video audio interactive) to strengthen market presence and engage target audiences.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop ROIdriven content that translates technical concepts into clear value propositions.
Oversee the optimization of content for various platforms and analyze performance to refine strategies.
Act as a key liaison between content creators and channel owners to ensure effective content distribution and impact across the customer journey.
Forecast monitor and report on content performance metrics to leadership providing insights for strategic adjustments and budget allocation.
Lead and mentor a team of content marketers fostering a collaborative and resultsoriented environment.
Develop and implement an AI strategy to enhance content creation distribution and overall productivity.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines voice and tone for consistency and differentiation.
Stay current with SEO and LLM best practices to maximize organic reach and content effectiveness.
Collaborate crossfunctionally to gather insights identify trending topics and align content with broader marketing initiatives.
Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and industry experts to amplify content reach and impact.
Continuously evaluate and improve content processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Contribute to the development of a content center of excellence and maintain a comprehensive content library.
810 years of proven experience in B2B content marketing strategy development digital copywriting or a similar role ideally within the B2B SaaS technology sector.
35 years of demonstrated experience leading and managing content marketing teams including performance management and team operations.
Bachelors degree in Journalism Marketing Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of the B2B marketing landscape and the ability to develop strategies that drive results.
Proven ability to create and implement content strategies aligned with Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas across various content formats and channels.
Deep knowledge of conversion copywriting SEO social media and digital marketing best practices.
Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data derive actionable insights and optimize content performance.
Technical proficiency in marketing technology and analytics tools (e.g. CRM marketing automation Google Analytics SEO tools AI content tools).
Excellent leadership communication interpersonal problemsolving and networking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams and subject matter experts.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and technologies.
Experience in the connected transportation/telematics industry or related B2B technology sectors preferred.
Previous experience in Public Sector Commercial Transportation or Mobility Insights preferred.
Certifications in content marketing copywriting or AI for marketing a huge plus.
