About the opportunity

We are seeking a Processing Accounts Analyst to join our team. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all movements in the trust account are accurately accounted for including but not limited to daily receipting payments income drawings etc. The role also includes debtor management unallocated cash monitoring/resolution and actioning items in the various inboxes on a daytoday basis.


Responsibilities

  • Daily Cash receipt management and allocation for general insurance products including investigation of missing information and mismatched amounts and following up relevant parties to resolve
  • Daily Inbox management and monitoring
  • Daily bank / trust account reconciliations and update of system interface journals
  • Daily update of Unallocated Cash registers and liaising with brokers and underwriters on resolution
  • Review of Debtor report to review any write offs to be processed
  • Processing of broker refunds withdrawals and other payments throughout the month
  • Management of key requirements under a variety of different general insurance binders
  • Processing of income and GST drawings
  • Processing and lodgement of various government taxes e.g. Stamp Duty Fire Service Levy etc.
  • Assist in gathering evidence and support for agencies system audit
  • Assist adhoc and/or general queries as required
  • Processing End of month and End of month Reporting

Skills and Knowledge

  • High attention to detail and quality fast learner and with the desire to understand business processes
  • High aptitude in working with volumes of data
  • Effectively work with a team and others to meet timelines objectives and KPIs
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills liaison with onshore counterparts and various internal/external stakeholders
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Flexible and driven ability to multitask and work under pressure or time constraints
  • Analytical and accurate organized detail oriented and simple problemsolving skills are musthaves
  • Continuous process improvement mindset and proactiveness required
  • Competent in Microsoft Office at least intermediate MS Excel required
  • Able to execute sets of agreed processes to ensure efficient timely and accurate information delivery
  • Relevant experience in insurance / underwriting credit control is advantageous
  • Experience in using Winbeat and Insight and other similar systems essential.
