CoreWeave is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Counsel Employment to join our Legal team. If hired you will work on a broad range of global employment matters including talent acquisition employment agreements and separations Employers of Record (EORs) and Professional Employment Organizations (PEOs) employee handbooks and policies leaves of absence reasonable accommodations performance management organizational restructures M&A integrations and other matters. You will help ensure that CoreWeaves employment strategy programs and policies are structured to accelerate our business while complying with applicable law in all of our jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have experience scaling companies in a highgrowth tech environment. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel Corporate partner closely with the People team and collaborate frequently with other key stakeholders including Accounting Payroll Tax Corporate Development and Securities.

You will join a proactive and deeply engaged Legal team that values collaboration and innovative problemsolving. Responsibilities:

  • Provide daytoday and strategic advice on a variety of global employment law matters including recruiting hiring and terminations employment and separation documentation EORs and PEOs compensation and benefits leaves of absence reasonable accommodations performance management restrictive covenants employee classifications employee litigation organizational restructures and M&A integrations.
  • Provide timely businessfocused advice and counseling in support of our global workforce strategies and policies in accordance with evolving global laws and regulations.
  • Rapidly build trusted and inclusive partnerships with our People team and provide clear insights to address concerns and reach best outcomes.
  • Review interpret and draft company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor legislation regulations case law and government enforcement activities relating to relevant employment law areas and provide proactive strategic advice to relevant Legal People and business partners.
  • Help build a robust corporate compliance program including enhancing and maintaining employment policies processes and training programs with scalable frameworks.
  • Conduct legal research on a variety of complex employment law issues.
  • Work collaboratively to prioritize business objectives and support overall company success.
  • Eciently manage outside counsel.
  • Support other projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of relevant employment law experience advising on a variety of complex global workforce issues and best practices.
  • Substantial inhouse experience at a global tech and/or publiclytraded company with relevant prior experience from a top law rm.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in employment law and experience providing support on a global scale.
  • Ability to be the primary inhouse attorney on certain employment law projects including handling multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people collaborate with diverse business groups and build interdepartmental relationships at all levels including seniorlevel executives and members of the Board of Directors.
  • Assertion when appropriate to challenge and be challenged both internally and with clients in a constructive and respectful way.
  • Advanced problem solving skills to quickly digest a problem evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliver.
  • Excellent drafting written verbal communication project management legal interpretation and research skills.
  • A commitment to professional conduct excellence and meticulous attention to detail sometimes under time pressure.
  • Ability to balance legal risk mitigation against key business objectives and risks.
  • Ability to manage outside counsel efficiently.
  • J.D. degree & membership in at least one state bar (New York New Jersey California Washington or Washington D.C. preferred).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The basepay for this position ranges from $230000$260000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills andexperience.
