What were looking for:
Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a fulltime SpeechLanguage Pathologist in Suffolk County. Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience in treating adults and dysphagia are encouraged to apply. The caseload is primarily homecare at the moment with potential to build up in many of our outpatient clinics located all across Long Island. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia Dysphagia Pediatrics SchoolAge Voice Cognitive Communication Disorders AAC use etc.

Salary: $65000
Schedule: Flexible make your own schedule

- Licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible for CF
- Initial TSSLD
- Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
