Job Description
Certified Surgical Technologist
Shift: PRN Day shift/ night shift FLEXIBLE scheduling hours (810 & 12/hr shifts available).
As a Surg Tech at Tennova HealthcareClarksville youll play a vital role in doing what you do best providing quality care to our patients.
Requirements:
- BLS certification required
- Holds current and active Surgical Technician Certification (CST) established by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within a particular field.
About the Job:
- Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures. Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patient during preoperation procedures.
- Performs preoperation preparations to the patients skin body and medical equipment. May be required to transport patient to and from the operating room.
- Possesses expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique knowledge of human anatomy surgical procedures and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physicians performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
