A&P Technician

Primary Purpose of the Position
This position works as a team member performing inspections repairs and preventative maintenance on corporate and general Aviation aircraft. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.

Essential Functions

• Perform efficient troubleshooting aircraft maintenance and repair in accordance with applicable regulations manufacturers instructions and company policies.
• Ensure consistent accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms computer entries and logbook entries.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Keep a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Airframe and Power plant A&PCertificate
• 2 or more years of general aviation and / or corporate aircraft maintenance experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.
• Possess adequate tools.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Avionics experience.

Work Hours:

• Your work week would be Monday through Friday: 8430 PM
• As a condition of your employment you will be required to participate in the AOG / On Call program. You will receive training to perform Airline Oncall maintenance. The duration is for 7 days. Callout pay plus your hourly rate of pay as required by state law will be provided for Call Out work.

Reports to: Director Maintenance

Supervisory Responsibility: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

FLSA Status: This position is nonexempt.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels and oils. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Travel: This position may require minimal travel.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform frequent walking sitting stooping stretching bending reaching and grasping actions. May be required to work nights and weekends. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
