We combine advanced simulation autonomous design and vertically integrated manufacturing to accelerate the pace of the physical economy. As Plant Manager you will take full ownership of the Detroit facilitys P&L people processes and performance. You will lead the site from initial pilot runs to 24/7 production using advanced automation robotics and realtime AI analytics to achieve worldclass OEE scrap and cycletime performance.
Launch & Scale
Lead site rampup including equipment installation cell layout utilities and regulatory readiness
Build and manage a highperformance team across operations maintenance quality and logistics
Operational Excellence
Deliver hourly and daily production targets across OEE yield uptime and cost per shot
Build a lean highefficiency culture using tools like 5S SMED and Six Sigma
Partner with software teams to deploy predictive quality models and autonomous process control
Quality & Compliance
Achieve and maintain IATF16949 ISO 9001 and customerspecific quality standards
Own PPAP FMEA audit preparation and continuous correctiveaction processes
Safety Culture & Leadership
Create a zeroincident safety culture; ensure OSHA and MIOSHA compliance
Develop future leaders through coaching transparency and metricsdriven management
Financial & Strategic
Own sitelevel budget cost reduction and headcount planning
Inform capital strategy including nextgeneration presses automation and metrology
10 years in highvolume injection molding including 5 years leading a full plant or major business unit
Proven track record launching or scaling greenfield operations or major expansions
Expertise in scientific molding decoupled processes (RJG) and cavitypressure control
Demonstrated ability to drive results in OEE scrap reduction and cost using data and lean methods
Familiarity with MES IoTenabled operations and statistical process control
Strong financial ownership including P&L cost modeling and capex planning
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degrees a plus
Experience with fully automated workcells (robots vision inmold labeling insert molding)
Background in automotive medical or other highly regulated sectors
Experience with Industry 4.0 tech like digital twins or adaptive process control
Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification
Own the Build Play a foundational role in shaping a nextgeneration production facility and team
Work on the Frontier Collaborate directly with AI and software teams pushing the limits of autonomous manufacturing
