We are seeking a detailoriented and customerfocusedFinancial Associate to join our team. Under general supervision this role performs a variety of customer service and financial duties that support patient billing revenue processing and financial assistance coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare billing systems excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to accuracy and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
This is anhourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union)with a pay range of28 on theOCSEAPay Range Schedule.Normal working hours are 1stshift (8:00am to 5:00pm).This position is located within ourOffice of Financial Managementheadquartered at theJames Rhodes State Office Tower 30 East Broad Street 11th floor Columbus Ohio 43215.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code the selected candidate will begin atStep 1of the pay range schedule listed above with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Position Qualifications
18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or completion of high school technical program in accounting; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or completion of associate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
