Job Description: Registered Manager Position

Service: Children Home; EBD 2 bed and 3 bed therapeutic homes

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at our therapeutic residential home in Kidsgrove Staffordshire. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the wellbeing and progress of our service users while upholding our organisations values and standards.

Dual Registration Opportunity:
For experienced managers there is an exciting opportunity within our clients organisation to dual register expanding your skill set and professional development. This dual registration will involve overseeing 2 homes located near each other providing a broader scope for managerial responsibilities and growth opportunities. Location:
The individual will be based in Kidsgrove Staffordshire.

Working Hours:
Expected working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm.

Reporting Structure:
The role will work alongside and report to the Operations Manager RI and Director

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
As a Registered Manager youll lead the way in ensuring children and young people receive exceptional care and support. Your goal is to align your approach with the organisations values creating a loving and nurturing environment that caters to each childs unique needs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Keeping the residential home running smoothly while adhering to relevant legislation policies and the Homes Statement of Purpose.
  • Leading a compassionate team to provide a safe and warm environment where children and young people can build cherished memories.
  • Creating and implementing personalised care plans that cater to each young persons specific needs.
  • Offering guidance and support to your care team ensuring they maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Implementing evidencebased interventions with the help of Clinical Psychologists.
  • Encouraging and supporting young people in engaging with therapies education and developing essential life skills.
