We are currently seeking aLube Technicianto join our team of customerfocused professionals within our high volume and processdriven dealership.
Purpose/Summary of Position:
The Tire and Lube Technician is responsible to service vehicles including providing preventative and routine maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Checking that tires are inflated correctly
- Replenishing vehicle fluids lubricates joints/fittings as needed
- Checking cabin and air filters
- Responsible for inspecting tires on client vehicles making tire repairs installing new tires when necessary balancing and rotating tires.
- Maintaining tidiness of the shop
Other responsibilities include:
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including walking crouching bending and standing for extended periods.
- WHIMIS standards to ensure chemicals/equipment is being handled in a safe manor & ensure you are compliant in using them.
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
Candidates must possess:
- Valid drivers license minimum G2
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is a must
