Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference As a Home Care Worker with UPA youll provide essential support to elderly clients in their homes helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
Youll assist clients across Port Macquarie with a variety of daily living activities such as personal care meal preparation light housekeeping and companionship. Your caring heart and helping hands will enable our clients to live comfortably and safely in their own homes.
This a part time role 20 hours per weekMonday to Friday between 0700 and 1700.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a consumerdirected approach
- Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans including personal care domestic assistance and social support
- Ensuring privacy confidentiality and dignity for all clients
- Responding to emergency situations using first aid
- Maintaining accurate records of client care
- Reporting any incidents or hazards
What you bring:
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Australian Drivers License and willing to travel
- Registered and insured vehicle
- Compassion empathy and a passion for helping others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in using technology
- Availability Monday to Friday between 7 am and 5 pm
Candidates must have the right to work in Australia as a mandatory requirement.
