You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Director of Religious Education of Holy Spirt Parish requires a creative hardworking innovative solutionsoriented and passionate individual. Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Parish Administration the Director of Religious Education implements coordinates and evaluates youth catechetical ministry. The incumbent is an active participant in parish activities and will successfully assume new responsibilities for the parish and provide direct support in strengthening the parishs overall performance. As a representative of the Roman Catholic Church the Director of Religious Education will conduct him/herself according to the goals and mission of the Church in performing their duties.
Supervision Received and Exercised: Receives general direction from the Executive Director of Parish Administration and exercises supervision over Catechists. Coordinates activities with volunteers in charge of sacramental preparation OCIA and Liturgy.

Language Skills:
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients vendors employees and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
