Job Description
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced candidate to identify create develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our last mile delivery network. This position will lead the development and execution of new worldwide transportation initiatives designed to improve overall efficiency and meet the evergrowing demand for last mile capacity. The successful candidate will have strong data mining and modeling skills and is comfortable facilitating ideas and working from concept through to execution.
Key job responsibilities
Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel SQL Access and other data management systems.
Monitoring existent metrics analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
Supporting crossfunctional teams on the daytoday execution of the existent program implementation.
Driving small to medium operational enhancement projects.
Research and implement cost reduction opportunities.
Bachelors degree or equivalent
3 years of experience as business analyst data analyst or similar role
3 years of experience with Excel including use of lookups and pivot tables
3 years of experience with Supply Chain Management concepts e.g. forecasting planning optimization and logistics
3 years of experienced developing requirements and creating requirements documents and process flows
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Working knowledge of LEAN and SIX SIGMA methodologies and familiarity with Oracle business intelligence tools is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL Perl Unix/Linux Visual Basic or other programming languages are a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
