The Department of Human Services (DHS) is looking for a dedicated and highly organized team player to join Norristown State Hospital as a Stock Clerk 2. We look forward to working with you! DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Stock Clerk 2 you will be responsible for the receipt storage and distribution of a variety of items used throughout Norristown State Hospital. Specific duties include monitoring supplies and notifying the appropriate staff when items need to be replenished receiving and examining goods and using mechanized storeroom equipment to move materials. You will be responsible for logging incoming and outgoing shipments inspecting thequantity and quality of commodities to ensure conformance to specifications and accepting or rejecting goods as indicated. During the course of daily assignments it is essential to maintain facility safety by ensuring that doors are not left unlocked or unattended.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch. May change based upon operational needs.
- Overtime as needed.
- Free parking
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in stockroom warehouse or clerical work; and graduation from high school;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
