Urgent Care Veterinarian:
The primary role of theUrgent Care Veterinarianis to efficiently provide high quality outpatient care to patients with minor injuries and ailments. Responsibilities include all aspects of urgent care that do not require hospitalization with an emphasis on thorough and timely communication with clients and referral veterinarians. Cases requiring more advanced care will be stabilized for specialty transfer and 24hour care with the MedVet Cincinnati specialty services. This is a unique opportunity for a smallanimal general practice emergency or internship trained veterinarian to work in a teamoriented collaborative environment with the benefit of set shift schedules.

- Urgent care services will be offered 7 days a week.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Great schedule!
- Assistwith theinperson and phone triage process.
- Supervisepatient intakeandevaluation.
- Provideprompt examination diagnostic recommendations and treatment to incoming patients.
- As needed stabilize forclienttransfer tothe appropriate specialtyservice within MedVet Cincinnati.
- Communicate with clients and referral partners regarding patient status diagnostic and treatment plans estimate updates and followup care
- Engage in training of clinical service team members.
- Utilize existing templates whenever possible to efficiently complete discharges medical records and referral reports.
- This is a unique opportunity for a new grad or experienced veterinarian to work in a teamoriented collaborative environment with the benefit of set shift schedules.
Requirements:
- Licensed veterinarian in the state that the hospital is located
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to work in a collaborative teamoriented workplace
