- Role: Software Engineer
- Experience: 8 years
- Work Location: Phoenix AZ
- Project Duration: 12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate development enhance code quality and support debugging and optimization across multiple languages
- Integrate Generative AI models (e.g. GPT Codex) into software engineering processes to streamline coding and automate repetitive development tasks
- Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for AI tool integration and productivity enhancements
- Establish and maintain secure efficient best practices for AIpowered development workflows
- Conduct internal training sessions and workshops on the effective use of GitHub Copilot and related tools
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks for applicability and improvement opportunities
- Monitor performance and usability of AIassisted development tools providing feedback for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with coding standards security practices and development guidelines for AIgenerated code
Required Skills:
- Strong programming background in Python JavaScript Java and similar languages
- 8 years of software engineering experience
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AIbased development tools
- Understanding of Generative AI models and their application in software engineering
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting and collaborative skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and popular ML frameworks
- Experience mentoring or training developers on emerging technologies
- Awareness of secure coding practices and software compliance standards
