Job Description
Dedicated to creating experiences that amaze both our guests and team members Stanleys Bar & Grill at the Stanley Park Pavilion is looking for a handson energetic bartender to join our team.

As a Restaurant Bartender you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Youll be responsible for crafting highquality cocktails quickly and consistently engaging with guests and keeping the bar running smoothly during peak hours. The ideal candidate is skilled in mixology thrives in a fastpaced environment and has a strong knowledge of spirits beer and wine while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain glassware and cutlery
- Keep restaurant and bar storage areas organized and stocked with supplies
- Clean floors walls counters windows and equipment in restaurant and service areas
- Maintain a positive teamoriented work environment
- Work quickly and efficiently
- Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and food pairings
- Craft espressobased drinks and specialty coffees with precision
- Process transactions handle cash and ensure accurate billing
- Follow responsible alcohol service laws.
- Follow all HAACP and Food Safe requirements
- Follow all procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook
- Be knowledgeable and promote the Capilano Group of Companies.
- Promote a safe work environment paying particular attention to food and drink safety
- Take reasonable care to protect your own coworkers and Guests health and safety
- Be alert to hazards and immediately report hazards defective equipmentor concerns to your supervisor.
- Ensure your ability to work without risk to your health and safety or any other persons safety is not impaired by alcohol drugs or other causes
Qualifications:
- One (1) year of bartending experience
- Must have current Serving It Right certificate
- Previous baristas experience an asset but not required
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to multitask
- POS knowledge an asset
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide experiences Guests are amazed by
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs climb a step ladder or climb a step stool
