Job Description

North West Rubber is a proud Canadian company originated in Pitt Meadows British Columbia in 1968. We are currently in search of a Inside Sales Representative to contribute to the success of our three thriving business divisions.

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting all areas of the business including Commercial Retail and Agriculture. The primary focus will be assisting the outside sales team ensuring sales and gross profit targets are met and exceeded.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting outside sales representatives in daily office duties answering incoming inquiries maintaining flow of communication continuing to build customer relations and interacting with all departments to enhance sales company wide

Creating and maintaining a list/database of current and prospective customers

Cold calling researching potential leads from business directories web searches or digital resources

Cold Calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients

Assisting with coordination of tradeshows with the Marketing Department and Outside Sales members

Providing moderate technical support and services to customers

Discussing product requirements and expectations with customers and recommending specific products and solutions

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Sales & customer service training and/or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
  • Ability to quickly learn new product knowledge
  • Experience working in a teamoriented and collaborative environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Possibility of attending tradeshows so willingness to travel and valid passport are a must
