About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
This includes providing defenceready clinical and support staff across 45 onbase locations ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality onsite medical care.
About Kuttabul Health Centre
Kuttabul Health Centre is located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point and the area itself has been host to a naval base since 1856. It is home to Fleet Support Unit SouthEast (FSUSE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical aviation & underwater medical outpatients nursing dental mental health pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services to the ADF population. This midsize health centre has up to 4500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours areMondayFriday.

Make an impact at Serco
You will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals on site to contribute to positive mental health outcomes for the Australian Defence Force personnel at Edinburgh Health Centre. We have multiple roles available with shifts Monday to Friday weekly 7:30 am 3.30 pm.
As a Psychologist youll make a positive impact by:
- Performing intake assessments and risk assessments
- Providing crisis intervention
- Planning case formulation and treatment planning
- Providing programmatic treatment interventions
- Planning care coordination
- Assisting with medication management
- Conducting group psychoeducation
To be successful in this role youll have the following:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a general Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of 2 years fulltime (or parttime equivalent) Post Graduate Experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidencebased Focussed Psychological Strategies as defined under the Medicare Schedule
Please note:
- You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
- You dont need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on base and your job stays here even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
